When will the 2017 Forum EPFL edition take place?

This year, the Forum EPFL will take place from the 10th to the 14th of October 2017. The program:

Presentations : 9th, 10th, and 11th of October 2017.

Stands : Thursday 12th and Friday 13th of October 2017.

Workshops : Monday 9th of October 2017.

 

What is the activation code?

The activation code allows your company to register in our inscription data base. If it does not work properly, please contact us, we will then generate a new code.

 

Where should I type the activation code?

For your first enrollment please follow these steps:

  1. Go to our website http://forum.epfl.ch/
  2. Click on <<Login>>
  3. Find the <<Register>> option next to the ‘’Login’’ box in blue
  4. Fill in the gaps: e-mail address and full name
  5. Select ‘’I am : A company’’
  6. Copy-paste your activation code
  7. Click on <<Register>>

Voilà, you are ready to proceed! A confirmation e-mail has been sent to your inbox with a password that will give you access to your account.

 

How do I access my profile?

If you are already registered on our website and want to access your profile:

  1. Go to our website http://forum.epfl.ch/
  2. Click on <<Login>>
  3. Type your e-mail address and the password you received by email
  4. Click on <<Login>>

How can I get the Early Bird preferential fee?

To get the Early Bird preferential fee, you simply have to register before the Early Bird deadline. You do not need to pay anything before the event.

 

When do I have to pay for the event?

We will send you an invoice once the Forum EPFL event is over. You do not need to pay anything in advance.

 

What is the 0-emission option?

By choosing the 0-emission option, you contribute to our projet to reduce the environmental footprint of the event: reducing deforestation in Brazil and helping local communities create sustainable jobs.
To thank you for your participation, a flower will be delivered at your stand.

 

How do I request a stand online?

  1. Access your account
  2. Click on <<Stands>> on the menu on the left
  3. On the right hand top corner click <<+ADD>>
  4. Personalise your stand
  5. Submit your request

 

How do I book a presentation online?

  1. Access your account
  2. Click on <<Presentation>> on the menu on the left
  3. On the right hand top corner click <<+ADD>>
  4. Choose your company
  5. Select the duration (25 min or 55 min)
  6. Find a slot available in the presentations timetable
  7. Reserve the Extra that you wish

 

How do I book a workshop online?

  1. Access your account
  2. Click on “+ Add” on the top right corner of the window
  3. Choose if you wish to filter by level of studies or not
  4. Give a short description of your workshop
  5. Upload a file with the room organisation you wish for your workshop
  6. Choose if you wish to accept all participants, or if you wish to select the participants manually
  7. Choose the number of participants of your workshop (30 or 50 places*) and the date and time when you wish to have your workshop
  8. Click on “Send”
  9. Order appetizers and furniture you wish to have

*For the 30 and 50 participants workshops, book rooms for 60 and 100 people respectively.

 

How do I book an interview box online?

  1. Access your account
  2. Click on “+ Add” on the top right corner of the window
  3. Give your interview box a name
  4. Select the type of interview box (Standard or Premium)
  5. Select the duration of the interview (25 or 55 minutes)
  6. Choose if you wish to filter by level of studies or not
  7. Choose if you wish to accept all participants, or if you wish to select the participants manually
  8. Select the open hours of your interview box
  9. Click on “Send”

 

What could be more strategic for my company among workshops and presentations?

Presentations are brief talks (25 or 55 min) to describe your company, operations and the profiles you are searching among students. If you want to give an overview of who you are and what makes you a strong employer, this is the right spot!

Note: Open to all public (60 to 100 people).

Workshops are in-detail and more interactive talks (2h55m) where you are exposing a subject that could target a more specialised public. If you are aiming to recruit students from certain backgrounds for specific positions this is the time to go into details ! Workshops can be as personalised as you wish, you could devote some time for a brief presentation followed by an atèlier or round table. If you wish to offer appetizers, please let us know. Workshops can be truly tailor-made according to your needs.

Note: Open exclusively to the students your company authorises (30 to 50 people)

In a workshop you are free to innovate, the most interesting sounds the better! Think about anything that would buzz into young students’ minds, remember who is your public. Recent graduates are preoccupied to find a suitable job, make sure to highlight which strengths you are searching in your graduates and how the lifestyle of their future job is.
