Innovation Night 2026: Apertus Project

This year, Forum EPFL’s Innovation Night invites you to explore the issues surrounding artificial intelligence and technological sovereignty through the AI Center’s Apertus project. The presentation will address the current AI ecosystem, its applications, its limitations, and the challenges of transparency, accountability, and technological independence that will shape its future.

Whether you’re a student, a researcher, or simply curious to better understand the evolution of artificial intelligence, come discover the Apertus project and learn more about it. To discuss this topic, we have the great honor of welcoming Aryan Ahadinia, who works on the infrastructure for the Apertus project at the ETH/EPFL AI Center.

The presentation will take place on Wednesday, September 23, starting at 7:00 p.m. in ELA 1 and will be followed by an aperitif!
