Over the course of the week preceding Forum EPFL, you’ll have the opportunity to meet experts from leading Swiss universities and multinational companies. They’ll be on hand to help you optimize your job applications and professional integration.
Workshops all take place in the Rolex Learning Center, in the so-called “bubbles”, whilst the conferences have their time and place specified in their descriptions.

Have your resume and cover letter reviewed by professionals and get personalized advice on how to make them more impactful. Take this opportunity to improve their content, structure, layout, and the way you describe your experience and skills, so you can give yourself the best possible chance of success in your future job applications. Job Interview Simulations
A 30-minute one-on-one mock interview with a professional designed to help you prepare for future job and internship interviews.
You can choose to take an interview in three different fields: HR interview, Finance technical interview, Industry technical interview
The interview takes place in a realistic setting and is followed by personalised feedback on your answers and overall interview performance, helping you gain confidence and prepare for real recruitment processes.
Improve you Elevator pitch
A 30-minute one-on-one session with a professional to develop and, most importantly, refine a clear and compelling elevator pitch. You’ll work on structuring your message, highlighting your strengths, and crafting a concise and effective presentation to capture your recruiter’s attention. Please come prepared with some ideas about your background, your goals, and the experiences you’d like to include.
Career Consulting
Project yourself in your future career with the advice of the experts from the Employability and Development Center. This workshop is designed for participants who already have some initial career perspectives or questions they wish to explore more concretely, rather than for general personality or orientation testing. It is particularly relevant for students returning from a gap year, PhD candidates considering a transition into industry, or bachelor students approaching the end of their degree and reflecting on master’s choices.

Optimize your LinkedIn profile, boost your visibility, and learn how to make the most of your network with advice from a recruitment expert.

Portfolio correction
A 30-minute one-on-one session with a professional to review your portfolio, receive personalized feedback, and showcase your projects in a clear, coherent, and impactful way. Bring a copy of your portfolio to receive practical advice on its content, structure, layout, and presentation. This workshop is open only to architecture students.
How to Succeed at the Forum EPFL

Presentations given by the Center for Employability and Development (CED). Come get the best tips on how to make the most of your experience at the Forum EPFL and obtain an internship or a job.

As a third-year Bachelor, Master or PhD student at EPFL, you are invited to create your profile on our dedicated platform. Once you have done this, you can upload your CV so that it can be checked by the EPFL Forum.
Once you have submitted your CV, log in to your profile. You can now register for Skills Week easily, directly from your profile by going to the Collective Services tab.
